Another month slipped by,

March has flown by - weather right now is awesome - sunny and above zero. Took a couple of buffalo pictures when we were having a snowfall one day.Walter & Ed and crew are in the process of separating buffalo mothers from their last year's calves. Big production.
We attended my brother John's funeral in Salmon Arm - shall put a few pics of family - got to visit with family there.

March 1 2006

Don't know where the other text went so shall start over. Our little grandson arrived on Feb 14, 2006 - weighed 8 lbs 4 oz and was 20.4 " long - lots of black hair and is really cute. We were able to visit with David & Mary & Ian last week Monday to Sunday - what a good time of bonding and practising grandparenting skills. He is a lovely, lovely boy - such a joy to be able to hold him and rock him and tell him stories and sing to him. What a blessing. David & Mary are adjusting well and are learning that a baby can be very demanding but rewarding too.
Ed got his 8 stitches out of his left hand index finger which was almost severed at the top by a V belt on a grain auger motor. The finger seems to be healing well although it is certainly very tender.
We also made a trip earlier - down to Salmon Arm to visit brother John - who was still at home and able to receive visitors - was so good to see him - he is now in Bastion Place which I believe is a hospice in SA. May the Lord be very near to them all at this time.
